[Gordon's on video again, just as confused as he was during his last transmission and holding up what appears to be a bonsai tree. He's trying to explain that he found it in his bag, and that he ran into some odd Pokemon earlier, which seems to be happening a lot lately.

He's also trying to inform a few people who might be watching that he's currently stuck on Route 5, and it's going to be a while before he can get back to Saffron. It's a shame too since he was almost back and then that weird Pokemon seems to have sent him back to the start of the route.

The keyword here is trying. Unbeknownst to Gordon, while the video is working fine, the Gear's not recording any audio at all. So there's the attached video of him talking, but what he's saying isn't audible. Nor is the background music or any other noise that would normally be recorded.]

Current Location: Route 5

[When the feed starts, it shows Gordon looking confused. He’s more than a little concerned with some of the things he’s seen on the Gear today, but confusion’s taking priority here.]

I KNOW THERE’S A LOT GOING ON, BUT IS ANYONE MISSING POKEMON? BECAUSE THERE WAS APPARENTLY SOME SORT OF MIXUP AT THE POKEMON CENTER, AND I SEEM TO HAVE ACQUIRED SOMEONE ELSE’S POKEMON. TO BE SPECIFIC, FIVE EXPLOUDS.

[He has six, but he’s pretty sure one of them is his.]

SO IF YOU’RE MISSING ONE, COULD YOU CONTACT ME SO WE CAN GET THIS SORTED OUT. I’LL BE AROUND-

[Wait, he was over by Saffron and now he’s…actually, he’s not sure where he is. From the looks of it, this is a completely different route than the one he was on before.]

I’LL GET BACK TO YOU ON THAT ACTUALLY. NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHERE I AM FIRST.

[Gordon's transmission ends there, but he'll be wandering around various routes, bugging the NPC trainers and trying to figure out exactly who these Explouds belong to.]

[Those checking their Gears right now might hear a familiar voice. What’s odd though is that the same voice is also coming from the radio if one is listening to that.]

HELLO. IS THIS THING ON? THIS IS GORDON, GORDON COLE. I SEEM TO BE IN A RADIO STATION OF SOME SORT. I’M NOT SURE HOW THIS HAPPENED, BUT PLEASE SEND HELP IMMEDIATELY. THANK YOU.

I APPEAR TO BE OKAY, JUST DISPLACED. SORT OF LIKE WHEN I GOT HERE. IF SOMEONE COULD ALERT AGENTS COOPER AND ROSENFIELD TO THE SITUATION AS WELL, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. THANKS AGAIN.

[It’s just dead air after that since Gordon’s not really sure how to turn the music back on.

The message repeats every twenty minutes or so. In the meantime, Gordon will be wandering around the studio trying to figure out how he was magically whisked from Albert’s farm to the Radio Tower.]

Current Location: Goldenrod City

[Oh hi Johto. It’s been a while since Gordon’s called in to let everyone know what he’s been up to, hasn’t it? Not to worry! Today, he’s going to let everyone know everything he’s been doing.]

CALLING IN TO REPORT A NUMBER OF THINGS. ONE, SINCE THE WEATHER’S FINALLY CLEARED UP, I’M HEADING OUT AGAIN ALONG WHAT THE SIGN POST BACK THERE REFERRED TO AS ROUTE 30. I THINK I HAVE ENOUGH SUPPLIES TO MAKE IT TO THE NEXT TOWN. IF I DON’T, I GUESS I’LL HAVE TO MAKE DUE BECAUSE IT WOULD BE A LONG WALK BACK TO THE STORE.

SECOND, RAN INTO A YOUNG MAN ON THIS ROUTE BY THE NAME OF JOEY. HIS POKEMON IS APPARENTLY SOME SORT OF RAT. I THINK HE SAID IT WAS A RATTAT OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. APPARENTLY IT’S IN THE TOP PERCENTAGE OF ALL RATTATS. NOT SURE HOW THAT WORKS, BUT THAT’S WHAT HE SAID. WONDER WHAT PERCENTAGE OF POKEMON THE ONE I HAVE IS IN.

[He’s still not actually sure what Whismur is called.]

HOW DO YOU FIGURE THAT OUT? ALSO, NOT SURE IF THAT'S THE JOE COOPER WAS REFERRING TO, BUT IT'S THE ONLY JOE I'VE MET SO FAR.

THIRD, I’VE BEEN UNABLE TO LOCATE A WESTERN UNION HERE. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE CLOSEST ONE IS OR WHAT THE NEAREST EQUIVALENT IS?

AND FOURTH, TWICE NOW MY PHONE HAS DISPLAYED SOMETHING CALLED KANTO DISCOVERY TRAIL. WHAT IS IT AND WHY DO THE POKEMON ON IT KEEP FAINTING FROM VARIOUS DISEASES? IS IT A GAME? OR IS IT SOME SORT OF GUIDE ON HOW GET THROUGH THIS PLACE?

[Guess who accidentally found the apps section of the Gear?]

Current Location: Route 30

HELLO! IS THIS THING ON? CAN YOU HEAR ME?

[The voice speaking appears to be yelling as loudly as possible into the receiver, and sounds a little confused about his current situation.]

I’VE NEVER SEEN A PHONE LIKE THIS, SO I’M NOT SURE IF THIS CALL IS EVEN GOING OUT. IF ANYONE CAN HEAR THIS, I THINK I’VE BEEN KIDNAPPED. IT’S THE DAMNDEST THING THOUGH. I DON’T REMEMBER BEING KIDNAPPED. OR MY MOTHER LOOKING LIKE THAT! ALSO, WHAT KIND OF KIDNAPPING COMES WITH A FREE PET?

[There’s a brief pause before the silence is broken by more yelling.]

THOUGH I’M NOT SURE EXACTLY WHAT THIS THING IS. IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE ANY ANIMAL I’VE EVER SEEN. SEEMS PRETTY QUIET TOO. THEN AGAIN, THE MYSTERY PET ISN’T REALLY THE PROBLEM HERE. IF ANYONE IS RECEIVING THIS PLEASE SAY SOMETHING AND LET ME KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON. OR TELL ME HOW TO GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE WHO DOES. PREFERABLY THE POLICE OR THE NEAREST FIELD OFFICE. TELL THEM REGIONAL BUREAU CHIEF GORDON COLE WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU.

[After hanging up, or at least thinking he’s hung up, Gordon puts the phone away and kneels down to take a closer look at his Whismur. Yelling at it doesn’t seem to be doing anything besides freaking it out, so if anyone wants to try and prevent the volume level going even higher, now might be the best time to step in.]
