[Even though some very nice people explained to Gordon how to use the text function on his Gear, he still has it set to audio. In addition to his voice, there’s Pokémon Center music in the background, as well as the sounds of the storm outside.]
ALBERT? COOPER? IF YOU CAN HEAR ME, THIS IS GORDON COLE. I’VE BEEN IN CHERRYGROVE FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF DAYS, AND I UNDERSTAND THERE’S ANOTHER TOWN SOME DISTANCE FROM HERE, BUT I’M UNABLE TO HEAD OUT DUE TO THE WEATHER. IN FACT, I’M GLAD I MADE IT HERE BEFORE THESE STORMS HIT BECAUSE THEY DON’T SEEM TO BE LETTING UP ANY TIME SOON.
ALSO, I’VE FOUND OUT WHAT MY, WHAT ARE THEY CALLED AGAIN, POKEMON? I THINK THAT WAS IT. WHAT MY POKEMON DOES! APPARENTLY, IT MAKES A LOT OF NOISE. I CAN HEAR IT PERFECTLY WHEN IT DOES THAT, BUT I’VE BEEN ASKED BY THE PEOPLE HERE TO KEEP IT FROM DOING THAT WHILE INDOORS. I’LL HAVE TO SHOW YOU SOME OTHER TIME.
