I've noticed these weird floating masks things around town. Other times I just see the masks lying all by themselves. Sometimes they chase after people trying to get them to put the mask on. I saw some girl fight one off, so I just assumed most people can and I haven't seen them since.
I just assumed that they might have something to do with this. I mean, I had a pokémon go right through me and I didn't become different but it had a different mask that looked like a skull and not like a person's face.
